The Program Manager of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services provides clinical and administrative supervision of Mount Rogers ABA services across the Agency (e.g., Behavior Therapy, Behavior Consultation, Developmental Services). The Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient, effective, and ethical delivery of services to supported individuals. Serves as the lead clinician for ABA programs, i.e. Behavioral Therapy Services, Therapeutic Consultation, as well as providing consultation and support to the Crisis Stabilization Units. Also provides Behavior Analytic, Care Coordination services, and crisis intervention and stabilization based on individual need and functional assessment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide required oversight and supervision to employees providing ABA services, including administrative and clinical support as required for their position (per regulatory and ethical standards). Ensure all staff are achieving required productivity standards to meet budgetary needs.
Provide necessary support to direct case load including assessment, treatment planning, supervision, modeling, training, and more intense support as required per individual treatment needs. Provide clinical supervision and support to Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs) within the program to ensure effective and ethical treatment is being provided in requirement with state and licensing board regulations and requirements.
Assist with hiring and training of new employees. Encourage opportunities for professional development and provide individual staff with ongoing feedback regarding performance, and monitor targeted billing units every month for all supervised staff. Complete annual performance evaluations for all required employees.
Provide behavior analytic services to individuals by providing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, constant monitoring and evaluation of individualized supports, implementing interventions and supports described in treatment plans, and/ or supervising and supporting the implementation of treatment plans by behavior therapist assigned to the case. Services are to be provided in the individuals’ identified home, clinic, or community setting as required per assessment results and allowances per service regulations and requirements.
Engage in ongoing evaluation of clinical practices and services rendered to individuals, including making programmatic changes and modifications as need through constant evaluation and regulatory changes. Responsible for continued review and evaluation of assessments, treatment planning, and service delivery of all individuals supported in the program to ensure effective and ethical practices by all employees.
Provide consultation and support to Crisis Stabilization and other units as needed
Ensure programmatic and staff compliance with all policies and procedures established by Mount Rogers Community Services, licensure, Medicaid/Medicare, DBHDS, BACB, Virginia Board of Medicine, and other regulatory bodies. Responsible for monitoring any changes in regulations, licensure, or guidelines as related to program area, make required changes or modification to current program, and communicating this information to all employees providing behavior analytic services.
Actively participate in meetings such as supervisions, clinical staffing’s, business meetings, committees, and workgroups as assigned. Utilizes these meetings for active problem solving and programmatic growth and to enhance a team approach to decision making. Keep mandatory trainings up to date. Provide consultation and educational services with MRCS and other agencies or organizations.

OTHER DUTIES:

Initiative to maintain knowledge of current Evidence Based Practices and Interventions.
Assist in monitoring Behavioral Services budgets and approvals of training or purchase of supplies.
Deliver consultation, training, technical assistance, and coaching to community providers who wish to enhance their capacity, including conducting assessments and providing supervision to professionals seeking to obtain or maintain certifications as Registered Behavior Technicians and BCABA/BCBAs.
Assist in networking and collaborating with other agencies in the community’s system of care within the assigned location of lead clinician.
Perform such other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive knowledge of behavioral health disorders.
Skills in assessment and diagnosis
Knowledge of behavior analytic approaches and evidence based interventions.
Knowledge of a broad range of treatment modalities and development of treatment plans.
Oral and written communication skills.
Where applicable, knowledge of evaluation tools for psychological testing.

Minimum Requirements
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst credentialed as a Licensed Behavior Analyst via the Board of Medicine.
Valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record
