The ABA Classroom Teacher position at The Faison School (Richmond, VA) is a terrific opportunity for students of behavior analysis and early career behavior analysts who value high quality training and (ongoing) mentorship from seasoned BCBAs and leaders in the specialized education field.
The Faison Center offers generous tuition assistance, allowing teachers to pursue careers in specialized education and behavior analysis, as well as customized student-teaching experiences and high-quality supervised fieldwork (individual and group) in behavior analysis.
ABA Classroom Teachers manage a team of teaching assistants, have small caseloads of students, work closely with their behavior analyst supervisor and members of the clinical leadership team, and receive a wealth of additional support to ensure their activities are spent primarily with students rather than completing paperwork.
The Faison School is a year-round private school program with seven weeks of annual paid time off and a reliable schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay is salaried and *not* reliant on billable hours, students showing up for services, etc. Faison teachers and behavior analysts also receive several opportunities for professional development and continuing education units during regular working hours.
